David Schwimmer, a tall, dark-haired and young talented actor was raised in Southern California and attended Beverly Hills high school. He attended Chicago’s Northwestern University pursuing his family’s traditional profession to become a lawyer. He graduated from Northwestern University, and gained stage experience in Chicago Theatre and also co-founded Chicago’s Looking Glass Theater Company. In 1989, he was cast as a killer in the TV thriller ‘A Daily Silence’ but it was an unpleasant experience for him and he moved back to Theater life. David guest starred and played recurring roles on many TV shows. He appeared on ‘The Wonder Years’ TV show as Olivia D’Abo’s hippie fiancé.
He gained critical acclaim for his role as a lawyer on gritty crime drama NYPD Blue. Another bad television experience was when he was cast opposite Henry Winkler in Fox’s sitcom Monty.

Up until 1994, he played a wide variety of roles on TV and stage. Schwimmer reluctantly accepted the role of Ross in Friends, a role that the show’s creators wrote especially for him. The show was an immediate hit and David Schwimmer’s loveable role as Ross Geller made him a star and got him an Emmy Nomination for best supporting Actor in a Comedy series.

He made his debut as a star playing a virtual clone of Ross in the Pallbearer. He played a dramatic role on docudrama Breast Men. Hi role as Ross Geller in friends TV show is one of his best performance.
