Matt LeBlanc is very well known for his character Joey Tribbiani, in the TV series Friends.
He was born to an Italian mother and a father who is a mix of Irish, Dutch and French. During his childhood, he was very interested in motorcycling. At the age of 8, he got his first bike and started participating in Race competitions. He was forced by his mother to find a better career for him rather than biking. And finally mamma’s cool son started learning professional carpentry. In 1985, he graduated from Newton North High School. He began appearing in commercials and Heinz ketchup commercial even won the Gold Lion Award at the 1987’s Cannas Film Festival. In the year 1988 he started learning formal acting. Mat got his first role as Chuck Bender in the TV series TV 101. He guest-starred on Red Shoe Diaries.

His movie credits include ‘The Killing Box’, ‘Ed’, ‘Lookin’ Italian’, ‘All the Queen’s Men’. In 1994, he joined Friends TV show, an award winning comedy, as Joey Tribbiani, who cares just about his 5 friends.

He got nomination for innumerable awards for his roles in Friends and in Joey. Matt won three awards: Favorite Male Television Star in People’s Choice Award (2005), TV-Choice Actor, Comedy in Teen Choice Awards (2002) and Editor’s Choice in TV Guide Awards (2000).

He married Melissa McKnight on May 3, 2003. The couple has a daughter, Marina Pear LeBlanc, born on Feb. 8, 2004 and two kids, Tyler and Jacquelyne, from Melissa’s previous marriage.
