Joey is now earning well, so he returns Chandler the $812 he owed him, and also presents him with a big gold bracelet, a gift Chandler doesn’t like. Ross is still trying to sort out issues with Rachel, who is convinced that they are not meant to be couple. Monica has run out of cash, and her parents come up at her house, with old belongings, and to turn her room into a gym.

In the old belongings box, the gang finds an old prom video, and they watch, when Rachel’s date hadn’t come up for prom, Ross had got ready to fill up his place, only to discover later that the date had arrived.
Rachel sees this on the video, and gives Ross, a thank you kiss, implying that they are a couple now.
